Councilor Geer is an Industrial Engineer and MBA (UA ‘83/UAB ‘91) who has worked for the US Navy and in the Banking industry, in addition to being a small business owner for over 5 years. She and her husband Michael, along with their kids Jack and Mallie, have lived in Homewood for over 12 years. She is a long-time volunteer with STAIR Birmingham, a master gardener and active supporter of several community organizations.
